Rhino

New Order is a British band that was formed in 1980 in Manchester, United Kingdom. The group came together shortly after the tragic suicide of Ian Curtis, who was a member of Joy Division and Warsaw. The band consists of talented musicians including Bernard Sumner on vocals, guitar, and keyboards; Peter Hook on bass and keyboards from 1980 to 2010; Stephen Morris on drums and keyboards; Gillian Gilbert on keyboards and guitar from 1981 to 2001 and again since 2011; Phil Cunningham on guitar and keyboards since 2001; and Tom Chapman on bass since 2011.
With their unique sound blending elements of post-punk, electronic music, and synth-pop, New Order has become one of the most influential bands in the music industry. Their captivating performances have garnered them a dedicated fan base worldwide.
Throughout their career spanning several decades, New Order has released numerous critically acclaimed albums such as "Power, Corruption & Lies" (1983), "Technique" (1989), and "Music Complete" (2015). Their innovative approach to music production continues to inspire aspiring artists across genres.

Rhino Records, also known as Rhino, is a renowned music label that was established in 1973 by Richard Foos. Starting as a record store in Westwood California, Rhino quickly gained recognition with its first successful release "Go To Rhino Records" by Wild Man Fischer in 1975. The label's early logo featured "Rocky the Rhino" and focused on novelty, surf, local new wave bands, and reissues of out-of-print records from other labels.

Under the guidance of Bill Inglot for production, Ken Perry for mastering, and A&R team Gary Stewart and James Austin, Rhino expanded its catalog to include a wide range of reissues by the mid-1980s. The label underwent a logo redesign during this time period to simply "Rhino". In 1984, Rhino released its first CD and became known for manufacturing high-quality CDs made by Sanyo (1984-85) and various manufacturers from Japan or Switzerland thereafter.

In 1985, Rhino entered into a distribution deal with Capitol Records which lasted until 1992. This partnership allowed access to Capitol's back catalog and led to the release of reissues of old Capitol albums. Additionally, EMI and Rhino acquired the Roulette family of labels in 1989. As their deal with Capitol came to an end in 1992, Time-Warner offered an opportunity for growth. Half of the label was sold to Time-Warner

Recorded live on 9th November 2018 (their only UK show of 2018), education entertainment recreation is a brand new live album from London’s Alexandra Palace.

Sonically spectacular, spanning 2 hours 20 minutes, the show joyously mixed New Order classics, their latest acclaimed album ‘Music Complete’ and Joy Division’s finest. Opening with ‘Singularity’ from ‘Music Complete’, they eased back in time to 1993’s ‘Regret’, to ‘Love Vigilantes’ from 1985’s ‘Low-Life’ to ‘Ultraviolence from 1983 debut ‘Power, Corruption and Lies’.

Later, their power over the dance floor was proven by sublime performances in the manner of the celebrated extended 12 inch remixes they are synonymous with - on ‘True Faith’, ‘Blue Monday’ and ‘Temptation’ before a four song Joy Division mini set to end.
