Octave One

Octave One is a techno group formed by brothers Lenny and Lawrence Burden in Detroit, Michigan. Their siblings Lynell, Lorne, and Lance also contribute to the group's productions. With their first single 'I Believe' released on Derrick May's Transmat label in 1990, Octave One quickly gained recognition in the electronic music scene.

Their biggest hit came in 2000 with the release of 'Blackwater' on their own 430 West label. This iconic track sold over one million copies and solidified Octave One as pioneers of techno music. Known for their innovative soundscapes and infectious beats, Octave One continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Influenced by artists such as Galaxy 2 Galaxy, Kenny Larkin, Underground Resistance, and Jeff Mills among others, Octave One has carved out a unique space within the genre. With their unparalleled creativity and undeniable talent, they have become synonymous with cutting-edge electronic music.
