Porridge Radio is an indie 'sadcore' group hailing from Brighton. Starting out as a solo lo-fi bedroom project and alias of Dana Margolin, the band has since evolved into a collective that captivates audiences with their unique sound. Although Dana occasionally performs solo under her own name, Porridge Radio's collaborative efforts have garnered them a dedicated following in the music scene.

Secretly Canadian is a US label based in Bloomington, Indiana. It was founded in 1996 by four individuals who are passionate about music. Originally known as Secretly Canadian Records, the label has established itself as a prominent player in the industry. In 2007, Secretly Canadian collaborated with another label to form a new entity called Jagjaguwar.

The label's first address was located at 1703 N. Maple St., Bloomington, until sometime in late 2000 or 2001. They then moved to their second address at 1021 S. Walnut St., Bloomington, which served as their headquarters until around 2004. Currently, Secretly Canadian can be found at their third and current address at 1499 W. 2nd St.

With a rich history and an impressive roster of artists, Secretly Canadian continues to make waves in the music industry. Their commitment to quality and passion for supporting talented musicians sets them apart from other labels.

In March 2020, Porridge Radio headed into the BBC studios to capture 4 songs from their Every Bad album, in their live, vital form. This EP captures the beautiful, wild and powerful energy of their performances that everyone has been so sadly missing in 2020. Featuring Sweet, Long, Pop Song and Circling, it’s a fantastic document of a band at a big turning point in their lives, right as the wildly praised album Every Bad was about to come out. The year has not been short on accolades for Porridge Radio - a mercury prize shortlisted album, multiple albums of the year nods and a plethora of critical acclaim.
