In his early career, he worked at the EMI tape duplication facility where he had access to iconic albums like The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." This experience fueled his passion for becoming a recording engineer.

Parsons went on to work with legendary artists such as The Beatles, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison after their split. He also collaborated with notable acts like The Hollies and Cockney Rebel.
