Brand new studio album by the 13-piece Nigerian formation around founder and singer Ade Bantu. Founded in 1996 by German-Nigerian lead singer Ade Bantu, his brother Abiodun Odukoya and Patrice, Bantu have been among the up-and-coming West African acts ever since, transforming the legacy of King Sunny Adé and Fela Kuti into the soundtrack of the continent of the present day. Ade Bantu, who is known in Germany as the founder and face of the "Brothers Keepers" initiative, is supported by four other singers, a three-piece wind section builds perfectly on the extremely versatile rhythm section. Bantu members are active with national greats such as Orlando Julius, Davido, Wizkid and Tekno, and the band has won prizes such as the pan-African Kora Awards and has worked with greats such as UB40, Tony Allen, Patrice and Gentleman. "What Is Your Breaking Point?" is no less than a musical sensation with its ten versatile and mature songs - Afro-Beat, -Funk and -Soul flow together and meet Jazz, Highlife, R'n'B, Hip Hop and Yoruba music, with the often polyphonic chants referring more than ever to the social and political grievances in their home country and around the world.
