Dionysius was the final studio album by Dannie Richmond, a drummer best known for his work with Charles Mingus.

Recorded in Italy in 1983 while on tour, the album features three original compositions, one apiece for band members Ricky Ford, Dannie Richmond, and Jack Walrath, plus two from Charles Mingus, 'Three or Four Shades of Blues', and 'Peggy's Blue Skylight'.
