Logan Ledger’s album Golden State, produced by Shooter Jennings, will be released on September 8.

Ledger says, “The very first time I talked to Shooter Jennings over the phone I knew that I wanted to make an album together. Right from the get-go, we had a degree of mutual understanding and shared purpose that I knew would result in the very sort of record I had been dreaming up. I wanted to conjure up a vision of my home state—California the real place, but mostly the imaginary one. Seems like most of my life I’ve been trying to get back to the Golden State—the one that exists maybe only in my head. Don’t know if I’ll ever make it there. But I’m gonna keep on reaching.”

Jennings adds, “I was already a fan of Logan Ledger and once we connected, I realized he wanted to really paint a life picture of who he was from his Bay Area, California roots to his journey

into the belly of Nashville as a singer/songwriter. Together, we made an album that I think was truly influenced by our collective love of folk and country music with Logan poetically projecting his personality and love of Cosmic American Music.”
