A 33 track round up of every A and B side issued by Mungo Jerry in the early ‘70s for the highly collectable Dawn Records label. It includes the world-wide No.1 smash ‘In The Summertime’ which, at the time, sold over six million copies on 7” alone and was later taken back to No.1 by Shaggy and has been used for many TV ads, ranging from anti-drink driving campaign to weed killer! It remains the all-time great summer song. Also features the UK hit singles ‘Baby Jump’ (No.1), ‘Lady Rose’ (No.5), ‘You Don’t Have To Be In The Army’ (No.13), ‘Open Up’ (No.21), ‘Alright Alright Alright’ (No.3), ‘Wild Love’ (No.32) and ‘Long Legged Woman Dressed In Black’ (No.13). Two tracks, the single versions of ‘46 And On’ and ‘My Girl And Me’, are making their debut on CD on this release which features only original versions. In depth booklet features a stack of picture sleeves from around the globe to get the collectors scurrying to record fairs and the internet! Totally remastered by the legend that is Tim Turan.
