while everyone bangs on about how long its taken to make, leave it to rough trade to tell you about the music.heavily influenced by the silver apples, out rock and even industrial and krautrock, they have constructed an album that is stark, uncompromising and yet starngely beautiful, this features an update of their trademark sound as well as some dazzling departures such as the industrial clatter of 'machine gun',the driving beats of 'silence' or the kate bush-isms of 'the rip'. all in all this album is one to immerse yourself in and if definately shaping up to be a shop favourite.
