Public Service Broadcasting is a London-based duo consisting of J. Willgoose, Esq. on guitar, banjo, other stringed instruments, samplings and electronic instruments; and Wrigglesworth on drums, piano and electronic instruments. They take samples from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda material to create their unique sound. Their aim is to teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future.
With a combination of live instrumentation and electronic elements, Public Service Broadcasting creates a captivating blend of sounds that transport listeners to different eras. By using samples from historical sources such as public information films and propaganda material, they provide an educational experience through their music.
J. Willgoose, Esq.'s mastery of various stringed instruments adds depth and richness to their compositions while Wrigglesworth's skills on drums and piano bring energy and rhythm. Together, they create a dynamic musical experience that is both thought-provoking and entertaining.

Public Service Broadcasting are the brainchild of London-based J. Willgoose, Esq. who, along with his drumming companion, Wrigglesworth, and bass player, keys and horns man, JFAbraham, is on a quest to inform, educate and entertain audiences. These four tracks were first performed earlier in the year at the BBC's Biggest Weekend event, which saw the band debut the new material on the slipways on which the Titanic was built, broadcast live on BBC 6Music. The EP tells the story of the construction of the Titanic and its early, tragic, demise. The band focus on the perspectives of those who built and sailed her, whilst showing their own talent for using a mixture of music and archive audio footage to provide a new perspective on well-known events.
