Album artwork for Take Me To Sekiri by Sekiri

The girl punk band Sekiri (trans Dysentery) was formed in Kyoto in 1983 and made a strong impact. The band's straightforward, condescending lyrics and lazy, new-wave punk sound are fresh even today. The first album, Take Me to Sekiri, released in 1988, is a masterpiece of dysentery, and this is the first time it has been reissued on analogue vinyl. It is the best way to enjoy the Sekiri world, where every song embodies sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll, and where you can get high straight away.
