The Cure is an English new wave / post-punk / pop rock band that was founded in 1976 in Crawley, West Sussex. Originally known as Malice and then Easy Cure, the band settled on The Cure in 1978. Throughout their existence, Robert Smith has been the frontman, songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist. With numerous line-up changes over the years, The Cure has remained a constant force in the music industry. In recognition of their contributions to rock music, they were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2019.

Since its formation, The Cure has seen various talented musicians join and leave the band. Wish released in April 1992 was The Cure’s 9th studio album and reached Number 1 in the UK Album Chart on its release. It also reached Number 2 in the USA, where it was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Alternative Music Album category. This is the 3CD Deluxe Edition (Jewelcase – lifetime edition) .
