<p>The House of Love is an English indie pop/alternative rock band that was founded in 1986 in London. The initial line-up included principle songwriter Guy Chadwick, Terry Bickers, Andrea Heukamp, Chris Groothuizen, and Pete Evans. After some changes in the band's members over the years, they disbanded in the early 1990s but reformed in 2005 with a new line-up. They have since recorded two studio albums and continue to tour sporadically. In 2021, Guy Chadwick disbanded the 2005 line-up and recruited three new members to tour the US and record a new album which was released in 2022.</p>
