Yaya Bey’s debut album on Big Dada titled Remember Your North Star. The new album explores the landscape of Black music via Yaya’s storyteller and experimental approach to modern R&B, Jazz, Hip Hop, Afrobeat and Reggae. Through these lenses Yaya examines themes of romantic turbulence, patriarchy, woman empowerment, fraught parental relationships and self- actualization.
