Renaldo Domino

Renaldo Domino is a Chicago soul and funk singer, born on March 27th, 1950. Known for his sweet voice reminiscent of 'Domino' sugar, Renaldo began recording while still attending Calumet High School in Chicago. His first recording, "I'm hip to your game" / "I love my girl," was released on the Arnell record label. This success led him to sign with Mercury records and release two records on their Smash subsidiary. Despite radio play in Chicago and touring around the midwest with his band the Dots, lack of promotion led him to leave Mercury and sign with Twinight label in Chicago. After releasing three singles, Renaldo left music to pursue another career.
