Scorn

Scorn is an electronic project hailing from Birmingham, England, UK. Originally formed in 1991 by former Napalm Death members Mick Harris and Nik Bullen, Scorn was initially associated with industrial and experimental music. However, after Bullen's departure in 1995, the project became solely led by Harris. Known for its minimalist beats and deep bass lines, Scorn's sound often incorporates elements of dub and trip-hop.

Throughout its history, Scorn has collaborated with various session/live musicians including Justin K Broadrick on guitars for their album "Vae Solis" in 1992 and James Plotkin on guitar and guitar synth for their album "Evanescence" in 1994. Pat McCahan also contributed live guitars during the early years of the project.

After a hiatus in May 1997, Scorn resumed activity in March 2000 only to pause again in November 2011. However, the project officially restarted once more in January 2019. Current member Mick Harris handles electronics and drums while Nicholas Bullen served as a former member responsible for vocals, bass, and electronics until his departure in April 1995.
