Siouxsie and the Banshees were a U.K. band formed in 1976, fronted by Siouxsie Sioux on vocals, with Steven Severin playing bass. Budgie on drums joined them in 1980. The band had various guitarists including Marco Pirroni, John McKay, John McGeoch, and Robert Smith of The Cure. Martin McCarrick was their full-time keyboard player from 1987 onwards. They disbanded in April 1996 but reunited for 'The Seven Year Itch' Tour in 2003.Siouxsie Sioux (Susan Janet Ballion) is known for her distinctive vocal style and powerful stage presence. She has been an influential figure in the punk and post-punk movements.Their music blends elements of punk rock, new wave, gothic rock, and alternative rock to create a unique sound that has inspired countless artists across genres.

Inspired by Bowie's Pin Ups, Through The Looking Glass featured bold re-imaginings of songs that had shaken band members' respective worlds during childhood and teenage years. The chosen covers ranged from Roxy Music's Sea Breezes to John Cale's Gun to Billie Holiday's sorrowful touchstone Strange Fruit. The album also featured two hit singles This Wheel's On Fire (based on the Julie Driscoll cover of the Dylan song) and Iggy Pop's The Passenger.

LP - Remastered from the original ¼” tapes and cut at half speed at Abbey Road studios, London. Both artwork and audio have personally been overseen and orchestrated by Siouxsie Sioux and Steven Severin.

CD - Remastered with bonus tracks - She Cracked, Song From The Edge Of The World 7' version, This Wheel's On Fire - Incendiary Mix and The Passenger - llllloco-motion mix.
