Demon is a UK 80s New Wave label that was founded by Elvis Costello, Andrew Lauder, and the company behind the label in 1980. In 1998, the label was acquired by Music Collection International and merged with its Westside Records operation. Today, Demon forms part of the Demon Music Group Ltd.

Initially a British folk-rock combo called Tyrannosaurus Rex, fronted by guitarist/vocalist Marc Bolan. They became glam rock pioneers and shortened their name to T. Rex in 1970. They had a series of top ten hits in the UK, including four number one singles. In America, the group only had one major hit - "Bang a Gong (Get It On)". They retained a following until Marc Bolan's death in 1977.
T Rex was an influential artist who started as a folk-rock band known as Tyrannosaurus Rex before transitioning into glam rock under the shortened name T. Rex. Led by the talented guitarist and vocalist Marc Bolan, they achieved great success with numerous top ten hits in the UK, including four number one singles. Although their popularity was limited in America, they did have one major hit with "Bang a Gong (Get It On)". Despite Marc Bolan's untimely death in 1977, T Rex continued to maintain a dedicated fan base.

Demon Records presents the final two T Rex singles (released in Marc Bolan’s lifetime), Dandy In The Underworld and Celebrate Summer, on two 10” singles in a gatefold sleeve. The original B-sides of Dandy In The Underworld – Groove a Little and Tame My Tiger have been replaced with alternate mixes from 1976 and 2006, along with a 2006 mix of Dandy In The Underworld. As the B-side of Celebrate Summer was Ride My Wheels from the Futuristic “Dragon album, Demon have replaced it with two tracks recorded later in 1977, but unreleased at the time – Hot George and 20th Century Baby – along with a monitor mix of Celebrate Summer. The records are pressed on red and blue vinyl.
