The Innocence Mission

The Innocence Mission is an American indie rock band that was formed in 1985 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The current line-up consists of Karen Peris on vocals, guitar, piano, and organ; Don Peris on guitars, drums, and vocals; and Mike Bitts on bass guitar and vocals. They have been making music for over three decades and have gained a loyal following with their unique sound.

With Karen's mesmerizing vocals accompanied by the beautiful melodies created by Don's guitar work and Mike's solid bass lines, The Innocence Mission has crafted a distinct musical style that sets them apart from other bands in the indie rock genre. Their heartfelt lyrics often explore themes of love, faith, and nature.

Although they experienced a change in their line-up when Steve Brown left the band in 1998 to pursue a career as a chef at Lily's on Main in Ephrata, PA., The Innocence Mission continued to create music that resonates with listeners around the world. Their dedication to their craft is evident in every song they produce.
