Kscope is a London-based label specializing in the progressive genre of current music. Launched in 2008, it is a division of Snapper Music, one of the industry's most respected and influential independent labels.

The Pineapple Thief is the musical vision of Bruce Soord, formerly with Vulgar Unicorn. He started TPT as an outlet for his music back in 1999.
In the spring of 2002, after the third album, Variations on a Dream, which was probably the album that gave TPT the boost they needed, reaching out to yet more people all over the world, Bruce decided to form a band to take his music to the fans. The band consisted of his close musical friends - former university band mate Jon Sykes on bass, Wayne Higgins on guitars, Matt O'Leary on keyboards and Keith Harrison on drums. Matt has since left but Steve Kitch (who co-produced and mixed the fourth album 10 Stories Down) has since joined to play keyboards. Wayne Higgins left the band in March 2008, but the group continues as a four-piece live act.
The first six albums were released on Cyclops records. In late 2007, the band were signed to Kscope Records who would later re-release their older albums.

The Pineapple Thief release new 12" of re-recorded band-favourites with now full-time drummer Gavin Harrison These updated versions of The Pineapple Thief's earlier works represent their darker and heavier sound and songwriting direction over the past two studio albums and give more prominence to Jon Sykes' new bass and Gavin Harrison's new drum parts. Frontman Bruce Soord's newly recorded vocals and guitars, new mixing by Soord and Harrison and mastering by Steve Kitch propel this Uncovering Your Tracks 12" into a must-have that showcases the evolution of The Pineapple Thief. Uncovering Your Tracks is presented in single sleeve packaging featuring re-imagined artwork based on the original Dissolution artwork by iconic design agency Stylorouge.
