'Stink' is an eight track Mini LP, recorded at Blackberry Way, Minneapolis, Minnesota, on March 13, 1982, and released on June 24, 1982. Before the first track, 'Kids Don't Follow', audio can be heard of the Minneapolis police breaking up a party at the Twin / Tone recording studio. 'Stink' was even more lightning fast and hilariously obnoxious than their previous release 'Sorry Ma Forgot To Take Out the Trash'. While 'Stink' is a highly under-appreciated release from one of the greatest and most essential rock groups of the 1980s alternative renaissance, it is an important and even intriguing piece to the puzzle of what the Replacements were all about. CD - The four bonus tracks featured here include a trio of session outtakes - 'Staples in Her Stomach' and covers of 'Hey, Good Lookin' and '(We're Gonna) Rock Around the Clock' - plus Westerberg's solo home demo for 'You're Getting Married.'
