Demon is a UK 80s New Wave label that was founded by Elvis Costello, Andrew Lauder, and the company behind the label in 1980. In 1998, the label was acquired by Music Collection International and merged with its Westside Records operation. Today, Demon forms part of the Demon Music Group Ltd.

The Vapors are a relatively short-lived new-wave rock band from Guildford, UK. Formed around David Fenton, they enjoyed worldwide success with their second single "Turning Japanese." Managed by Bruce Foxton of The Jam and Paul Weller's father, John Weller, the band released two albums and toured extensively before disbanding due to disillusionment with the record industry. However, in June 2016, they reformed and started touring again. In March 2020, they released the singles "Crazy" and "Together," followed by their third album "Together" in May 2020.

The original lineup consisted of David Fenton on guitar and vocals, Ed Bazalgette on guitar, Steve Smith on bass and vocals, and Howard Smith on drums. The current lineup in 2020 includes David Fenton on guitar and vocals, Ed Bazalgette on guitar, Steve Smith on bass and vocals, Michael Bowes on drums, and Dan Fenton on guitar and vocals.

The Vapors are an English new wave band who were initially active between 1978 and 1981. The group were spotted by Bruce Foxton of the Jam who went on to manage them alongside John Weller (father of Paul Weller). They rose to prominence with the release of their debut album New Clear Days which features their best-known track and international hit single ‘Turning Japanese’. The songs on the album focus on prominent societal issues from the time including nuclear weapons, power stations and the generation gap. The album is now reissued on vinyl for the first time.
