Tina Turner

Tina Turner, born on November 26, 1939 in Brownsville, Tennessee, was an American rock singer, actress and author. Known as 'The Queen Of Rock 'n' Roll', she possessed a powerful blues-soaked voice that captivated audiences worldwide. Turner's career took off in the 1960s with hits like "River Deep, Mountain High" alongside her husband at the time. Despite enduring years of abuse, she found the strength to separate from him and share her story in her autobiography "I, Tina". In the 1980s, producer Rupert Hine played a pivotal role in relaunching her career.

Turner made a remarkable comeback with singles such as "Let's Stay Together" and the album "Private Dancer", which propelled her back into mainstream success.
