Demon is a UK 80s New Wave label that was founded by Elvis Costello, Andrew Lauder, and the company behind the label in 1980. In 1998, the label was acquired by Music Collection International and merged with its Westside Records operation. Today, Demon forms part of the Demon Music Group Ltd.

Toyah is a group that was formed in March 1978, with lead singer Toyah Willcox. They went through several line-up changes and briefly operated under the name Ninth Illusion before settling on their final name. From 1978 to 1983, the main musicians of Toyah included Joel Bogen on guitars, Pete Bush, Adrian Lee, Keith Hale, and Simon Darlow on keyboards at different times, as well as Mark Henry, <ICharlie Francis, and <IPhil Spalding on bass. The band also had various drummers including Steve Bray, Nigel Glockler, and Simon Phillips.

Following her Top 30 hit album Posh Pop and Isle of Wight Festival performance Toyah unveils the new Rhythm Deluxe Edition of studio album In The Court of The Crimson Queen, presented as a prequel to Posh Pop.

The definitive version of the album now contains Toyah’s unique interpretation of the iconic song “Slave To The Rhythm”, featuring Robert Fripp on guitar and produced by Simon Darlow, co-writer of the original track. 

The album also contains three brand new remakes of “Sensational”, “Heal Ourselves” and “Latex Messiah” featuring the Posh Pop Three of Toyah, Simon Darlow and Robert Fripp. Plus exclusively revised artwork and lyrics for the album.
