The second album from The LA/Belfast based trio of David Holmes, Keefus Ciancia and Jade Vincent. Some thriller fans may spot it as the soundtrack to the ‘Killing Eve’ TV series.
Spector drums come crashing in as the echo-tastic girl group sound and atmosphere abounds. Little flourishes of arrangement that flash the feel of ‘60s lush orchestral greats. Strings scurry, prayerful organs spread their notes, great drums proudly pound and cinematic swathes make their divine bombast known. A touch of contemporary dance rhythms sneak in now and then but it melds in just fine...woozy girl pop with a fine touch of torch.
