2013 vinyl reissue. the debut album from the thermals is a cracker. urgent pop with the idiosyncratic guitar driven music of the wedding present and the diy  / lo fi aesthetic of guided by voices. it was mixed by chris from death cab for cutie. this sounds like a classic late 80's first wave american invasion album.
