audiobooks. audiobooks. What can you say about audiobooks that does them any justice? The London-based pair have already done so much that audiobooks is but a chapter in their ongoing story. But what a chapter.

Walking the tightrope between ultra-realism and surreal concept art, Now! (in a minute) is a fever-dream journey through daily life and the inner-thoughts of Evangeline Ling and David Wrench. Prosaic and deadpan, akin to Human League, disquieting and hypnotic, just like The Fall. Ling's exploration of her art is grounded and aided by Wrench's sense for melody, texture and fun.

This whirlwind of synths, screams, poetry - and even coughing fits - may not be to everyone's taste but this was never the intention. Now! (in a minute)is a 'push it to the limits' test for both the band and the listener.
