Angelic Upstarts

Angelic Upstarts is an English punk rock/Oi! band that was formed in South Shields in 1977. The band has been known for their strong support of anti-fascist and socialist causes, using their music as a platform to express their beliefs.

The original line up of the band consisted of *Mensi* (Thomas Mensforth) on vocals, *Mond Cowie* (Ray Cowie) on guitar, *Steve Forsten* on bass, and Derek Decca Wade on drums.
