Be Bop Deluxe

Be Bop Deluxe was a British band formed by Bill Nelson in 1972. Despite their name, they did not play Be-Bop music, but instead explored various genres such as prog rock, proto-punk, and new wave. Known for hits like 'Ships In The Night', 'Sister Seagull', and 'Maid In Heaven', the band recorded their final album in 1978. Bill Nelson's solo project 'Red Noise' was intended to be the sixth Be Bop Deluxe album, but due to circumstances, they decided to disband.
