Djivan Gasparyan

Djivan Gasparyan (1928-2021) was an Armenian duduk player, composer, and educator. He gained international recognition with his debut album released by Brian Eno's label. Throughout his career, he collaborated with renowned musicians such as Ludovico Einaudi, Brian Eno, David Sylvian, Peter Gabriel, and Michael Brook. Gasparyan's music also graced the soundtracks of Hollywood films like 'The Siege' and 'Gladiator'.

His unique talent on the duduk, a traditional Armenian woodwind instrument, captivated audiences worldwide. With his soulful melodies and emotive performances, Gasparyan became a revered figure in the world of music.
