Double Exposure is a soul disco vocal quartet that was formed in Philadelphia in 1968. Originally known as The United Image, they recorded for Stax before making their way to Salsoul Records. Their first release for Salsoul Records also happened to be the first commercial 12" single ever released. Producer Norman Harris, whom they had known since 1961, played a pivotal role in introducing them to Salsoul Records and produced all three of their albums.
