Nanna

Nanna is a Danish singer, songwriter, and actress born on July 23, 1963. She gained recognition when her homemade demo-tape caught the attention of Replay Records. This led to her debut album in 1982 and moderate success. However, it was in 1984 that she achieved national breakthrough with the title-song for Bille August's movie "Zappa". In 1985, Nanna released the charity single "Midt om natten" which became the best-selling Danish song of the year. Known for her vocal skills, Nanna often sings her own multi-layer backing vocals and has worked as a popular studio and tour backing vocalist in the 1980s. She was also known to be the girlfriend of Hilmer Hassig until his death in 2008.
