Patrick Higgins

Described by The New Yorker magazine as one of the "prime movers of the local avant-garde", and an "exacting avant-classical guitarist" by TimeOut NY, Patrick Higgins is a New York based composer/performer of experimental music. With his unique blend of classical guitar techniques and electronic soundscapes, he pushes the boundaries of traditional composition. Inspired by artists such as Kevin Reilly, Zs, and Pauline Oliveros, Higgins creates immersive sonic experiences that challenge conventional notions of music.

Higgins' compositions often feature intricate layers of looping melodies and hypnotic rhythms. His live performances are known for their intense energy and mesmerizing visuals. Collaborating with fellow musicians like Eli Keszler and Terry Riley, he explores new sonic territories through improvisation and experimentation.
