Wet Wet Wet are a successful Scottish pop band who achieved numerous chart hits in the UK and worldwide during the 1980s and 1990s. Formed in Clydebank, Scotland in 1986, they took their name from the Scritti Politti song "Gettin', Havin' and Holdin'". After a split in 1999, they regrouped in 2004, releasing new music and embarking on tours.
In July 2017, *Marti Pellow* announced his departure from the band to focus on his solo career. In September 2018, *Kevin Simm* was introduced as the new lead singer. The lineup underwent further changes in May 2022 when *Tommy Cunningham* and *Neil Mitchell* left the group. At that time, *Graeme Duffin*, who had been a semi-official tour and session musician with Wet Wet Wet since their debut album, became an official member of the band.
