Brett Naucke

Brett William Naucke (b. 1985) is an American electronic composer, recording, and performing artist based in Asheville, NC. He has released music on various labels such as Spectrum Spools, L.I.E.S., Umor Rex, and Hausu Mountain since 2009. Naucke's work combines synthesis with personal and conceptual narratives, resulting in a unique sonic output.

In addition to his music career, Naucke ran the Catholic Tapes record label from 2007-2015, releasing over 100 documents of American underground electronic music. He has also collaborated with several artists including *Bitchin Bajas*, *Panicsville*, *Pulse Emitter*, *TALSounds*, *Matchesse*, *Michael Vallera*, and *Ryley Walker*. Naucke's expertise extends beyond performing and producing; he has worked closely with synthesizer and effects manufacturers on product development and testing.

Naucke's contributions to the art world go beyond music. He has provided original scores for films, sound design for interactive gaming experiences, and presented works for multi-channel audio installations. As a member of avant-art collective ONO since 2013, Naucke continues to push boundaries in his artistic endeavors.
