Chairmen Of The Board

American soul music vocal group, Chairmen of the Board, was formed in the 1970s and is still actively touring today. Originally established by *General Johnson* and his fellow musicians after leaving another group, Chairmen of the Board quickly became the flagship act for their new record label. Their biggest hit, "Give Me Just a Little More Time," showcased Johnson's unique vocals and songwriting style. The band's second biggest hit, "Pay To The Piper," featured lead vocals by Danny Woods. In recognition of their contributions to music, Chairmen of the Board was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 1999.
