Da Lench Mob

Da Lench Mob, originally known as Tha Lench Mob, was a crew formed by Ice Cube after his departure from N.W.A. The group consisted of various members from South Central, Los Angeles and made their first appearance on Ice Cube's debut solo album, AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted.

In 1992, Da Lench Mob - Shorty, J-Dee, and T-Bone - ventured out on their own with Ice Cube serving as their executive producer. They released their debut album Guerillas In Tha Mist that same year. The album's lead single and its music video gained popularity in the fall of 1992.

Despite facing challenges such as J-Dee being sentenced to life in prison for murder in 1993, Da Lench Mob continued on. They recruited Oakland-based rapper Maulkie for their second and final album Planet of da Apes which was released in 1994. Shortly after the release of the album, the group disbanded.
