Dandy Livingstone

Dandy Livingstone, born Robert Livingstone Thompson in Kingston, Jamaica on December 14, 1943, is a renowned Jamaican reggae musician and producer. He relocated to the United Kingdom in the late 1950s and gained recognition as part of the vocal duo Sugar & Dandy by double-tracking his own voice. Signing with Ska Beat Records in 1967, he released his debut album "Rocksteady with Dandy" in 1968. In addition to his solo career, Livingstone formed the successful duo Dandy & Audrey with Audrey Hall and produced hits like "Red Red Wine" with Tony Tribe. He later signed to Trojan Records and established his own subsidiary label Down Town Records.
