Dntel

Dntel is the solo project of Jimmy Tamborello. He started working as Dntel in 1994 and has since released music on various labels such as Plug Research, Phthalo, March, and Sub Pop. His early works were compiled into an album called "Early Works For Me If It Works For You" which was released in 1999. Throughout his career, Tamborello has been a member of different bands including Strictly Ballroom and Figurine. Currently, he is part of the technopop group Figurine who are set to release a new record on March records.

Known for his unique sound, Dntel's music can be described as a blend of electronic and pop elements. His style has garnered comparisons to artists like Lali Puna, Styrofoam, and The Postal Service. With a discography that spans across multiple genres and collaborations with notable performers such as Telefon Tel Aviv and Broken Social Scene, Dntel continues to captivate listeners with his innovative approach to music.

With releases on numerous labels including ~Scape, Invicta Hi-Fi, and Silent among others, Dntel's extensive body of work showcases his versatility as an artist.
