Drive Like Jehu

Drive Like Jehu was an American post-hardcore band from San Diego, active from 1990 to 1995. The band was formed by Rick Froberg and John Reis after their previous band Pitchfork disbanded. Alongside bassist Mike Kennedy and drummer Mark Trombino, Drive Like Jehu created a unique sound that blended aggressive guitar riffs with intense vocals.

During their five-year run, Drive Like Jehu gained a reputation for their energetic live performances and intricate song structures. Their music pushed the boundaries of traditional punk rock, incorporating elements of noise rock and math rock into their sound.

Despite disbanding in 1995, Drive Like Jehu's influence on the post-hardcore genre continues to be felt today. Their two studio albums, "Drive Like Jehu" and "Yank Crime," are considered classics within the genre and have inspired countless bands that followed in their footsteps.
