Gaz Coombes, born on 8 March 1976 in Oxford, is an English musician and singer-songwriter. He is best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the English alternative rock band, Supergrass.
With his distinctive voice and impressive guitar skills, Gaz has captivated audiences worldwide. His music combines elements of alternative rock with catchy melodies and thought-provoking lyrics.
Throughout his career, Gaz has released several successful albums both as a solo artist and with Supergrass. His talent and passion for music have earned him critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base.

Gaz Coombes is set to release new album 'World's Strongest Man' on May 4th.

The one-time Supergrass frontman and full-time gentleman went back into the studio last year, seemingly inspired by everything from Grayson Perry's The Descent Of Man to Frank Ocean's 'Blonde' The follow up to 2015's 'Matador', Gaz worked both at his home studio and at Oxford’s Courtyard Studios, with occasional co-production from Ian Davenport. 

To coincide with the announcement, he’s also shared new track ‘Deep Pockets’, which propels itself on a rollicking, pulsating vintage synth line and Gaz’s own slightly fuzzed-out vocals, injecting itself with squalling, intense guitar riffs and intense, rhythmic drums.
