Fronted by 19-year-old singer &amp; bassist Shannon Wise and 21-year-old guitarist Max Shrager, and produced together by Shrager and Big Crown co-founder Leon Michels, The Shacks' debut was recorded in bits and pieces between Shrager's basement and Michels' Diamond Mine studio, which the Observer has dubbed "the Shangri La of Soul". Hinds is a Spanish band from Madrid that was founded in 2011 by Ana Garcia-Perrote and Carlotta Cosials. Originally known as *a3806047*, they were forced to change their name to "Hinds" in December 2014 due to legal reasons. The band expanded with the addition of Ade Martin and Ámber Imara Grimbergen later that year. In August 2014, Hinds released their debut single "Demo".

With their unique sound and energetic performances, Hinds has gained popularity among fans of indie rock music. Drawing inspiration from various genres, their music is often described as a blend of garage rock, lo-fi pop, and surf rock.

Some might expect them to write songs about being happy, young and carefree – “but we're not satisfied with that,” explains guitarist Ana Perrote. “On this album the struggles are clear. We want to be brave.” I Don’t Run is Hinds’ return with an honest reflection on a period that changed their lives beyond their wildest imaginations. After everything they’ve overcome, one might think a band like Hinds would have second album jitters, but think again. Hinds are chomping at the bit and with defiant confidence. “We loved making this album,” says Perrote. “We knew what we wanted and we have what we wanted. This is a new start for us and we're fucking ready.”
