Jungle Brothers

Jungle Brothers were formed through the high school friendship of Nathaniel "Afrika Baby Bam" Hall and Michael "Mike G." Small. They embraced a range of styles, including house music, Afrocentric philosophy, James Brown, and the use of jazz samples. As one of the original members of the Native Tongues Posse, they collaborated with notable artists such as Queen Latifah, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Monie Love, and Black Sheep. Their most successful single was "I'll House You," a collaboration with house producer Todd Terry.

Members: Nathaniel Hall (Afrika Baby Bam), Michael Small (Mike G.), Sammy Burwell (DJ Sammy B).

Jungle Brothers' unique blend of genres and collaborations made them an influential but often underrated part of the alternative rap scene.
