Kylesa

Kylesa was an American rock/psych/sludge metal band from Savannah, GA. Formed in 2001 by former members of Damad, the band added guitarist Laura Pleasants to their lineup. Tragically, founding member Brian Duke passed away during the recording of their debut album. In 2014, Kylesa's core members established their own label, Retro Futurist. However, on April 28th, 2016, the band announced that they would be taking a hiatus.

The band consisted of Phillip Cope on guitar, vocals and theremin; Laura Pleasants on guitar and vocals; and Carl McGinley on drums. They were also joined by live musicians Edley O'Dowd on drums and Chase Rudeseal on bass.
