Lea Bertucci

Lea Bertucci is an American composer and performer known for her exploration of the relationships between acoustic phenomena and biological resonance. With a focus on alto saxophone and bass clarinet, she incorporates multi-channel speaker arrays, electroacoustic feedback, extended instrumental technique, and tape collage into her work. Her discography includes solo and collaborative releases on independent labels, and she has performed extensively in the US and Europe. Lea Bertucci was honored as a 2016 MacDowell Fellow in composition and served as a 2015 ISSUE Project Room Artist-in-Residence.
