Maroon 5 is a pop rock band hailing from Los Angeles, US. Originally formed in 1994 as Kara's Flowers, the band underwent a name change in 2001 and became Maroon 5. Led by Adam Levine on vocals and guitar, the group also includes Jesse Carmichael on backing vocals and keys/rhythm guitar, James Valentine on backing vocals and lead/rhythm guitar, Matt Flynn on drums/percussion, PJ Morton on backing vocals/keys, and Sam Farrar on guitar/bass/samples/keys/backing vocals. Former members include Ryan Dusick on drums/backing vocals and Mickey Madden on bass.

With their catchy pop melodies infused with rock elements, Maroon 5 has captivated audiences worldwide since their inception.
