Naked Raygun

Naked Raygun is a popular punk rock band from Chicago, IL. Originally formed in 1980 by guitarist Santiago Durango and bassist Marko Pezzati, the group evolved into a more streamlined power pop/punk act over time. Jeff Pezzati, Marko's younger brother, joined as the lead vocalist and remained with the band throughout their entire history.

With their debut on the "Busted At Oz" compilation in 1981, Naked Raygun started gaining recognition. Their second album, "All Rise," released in 1985, featured what many consider to be their classic lineup: Jeff Pezzati on vocals, John Haggerty on guitar, Pierre Kezdy on bass, and Eric Spicer on drums.

The band became one of the most popular acts in Chicago and developed a dedicated following nationwide. However, internal struggles led to lineup changes and eventually resulted in the departure of John Haggerty in 1989. Bill Stephens replaced him for their 1990 release "Raygun...Naked Raygun." The band continued until 1992 when they essentially disbanded without making an official announcement.
