Norah Jones

Norah Jones is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, and actress. She launched her solo music career in 2002 with the release of her critically acclaimed album "Come Away with Me," which sold over 26 million copies and earned her five Grammy Awards. Her subsequent albums, including "Feels Like Home" and "Not Too Late," also achieved platinum status and received positive reviews from critics. With a total of nine Grammy Awards and over 36 million records sold worldwide, Jones has established herself as one of the best-selling artists of all time.

Born Geethali Norah Jones Shankar on March 30, 1979, she is the daughter of Indian sitar player Ravi Shankar and Sue Jones. She comes from a musical family, being the niece of Anoushka Shankar and Shubhendra Shankar, the paternal half-sister of Anoushka Shankar and Norah's brother Anand Shankar, as well as a cousin to Ananda Sen Sharma (aka Deva Premal), Shibani Kashyap, and Saskia Rao-de Haas.
