Paul Hardcastle

Paul Hardcastle is a British electronic producer, multi-instrumentalist musician, songwriter, and artist. Born on 10 December 1957 in Kensington, London, England, UK. He made his mark on the underground dance scene in the early 1980s before breaking into the mainstream with his hit single "19", which topped the charts for five weeks in the UK. In the latter half of the 1980s, he focused on TV soundtrack work and now primarily records under the pseudonym The Jazzmasters.

Despite contractual restrictions preventing him from releasing music under his own name, Paul found success under various aliases. His 12" single titled "Rainforest" released as A.M., soared to #4 on Billboards sales chart and became a massive hit across Europe. Another project known as LFO also achieved remarkable sales.

In addition to his musical achievements, Paul has contributed to film soundtracks such as "Spice World" (1997) and worked as a radio presenter in the US. With over 20 million records sold worldwide, he continues to captivate audiences with his talent and artistry.
