Prince Jammy

Lloyd James, better known as Prince Jammy or King Jammy, is a renowned dub mixer and record producer. Born in 1947 in Montego Bay, Jamaica, he began his musical journey at King Tubby's Studio as a dub master. Prince Jammy's distinctive dubs were characterized by their crystal-clear sound and innovative use of effects.

Influenced by the likes of Scientist, The Revolutionaries, and Yabby You among others, Prince Jammy has carved out his own unique space in the music industry. His collaborations with legendary performers such as King Tubby, Tapper Zukie, and Lee Perry & The Upsetters have further solidified his reputation as a pioneer in the genre.
